The Blooming Hands Collective is committed to expanding agricultural education, improving food access, and promoting sustainable farming practices.

Agricultural Education

The BHC is working to provide hands-on educational opportunities that teach people where their food comes from and understanding why it matters.

Promoting Sustainable Practices 

The BHC is committed to minimal-till farming, crop rotation, biodiversity, and pesticide-free practices to enhance soil health and grow nutritious, body-friendly food.

Improving Food Access

The BHC is dedicated to strengthening food security in Boulder County through donations to local food access groups, work-trade CSAs, and stay tuned for becoming a SNAP Retailer in 2027!

We’re excited to invite you to our Fall Fundraiser at Whimsy Farm in Boulder, CO on Saturday, October 17, 2026 from 5:30pm to 8pm! 🍂 
 

Join us for an evening of live music from The Riley Jay Band (music starts @ 6pm), delicious snacks, drinks for sale, games, and a silent auction featuring goodies and experiences from local businesses and artists.

Come ready to celebrate the season, support local agriculture, and spend time with our community. Since it’s fall in Colorado, be sure to bring a jacket, blanket, and anything else you need to stay cozy!
 

We’re going for a relaxed, community-park vibe, so chairs and blankets for lounging are encouraged. We’ll also have tables and additional seating available.

We want to celebrate with community, don't let the ticket price prevent you from coming, choose what works best for you! All ticket sales are tax deductible. There will be more opportunities to donate at the event.

We’re excited to share that Blooming Hands Collective is officially featured on the Colorado Gives organization page! 🎉

This means you can now make a tax-deductible donation to BHC directly through Colorado Gives, with every contribution supporting our farm operations and 2027 programming.

Looking ahead, our goals include:


🌱 Offering low- to no-cost CSA shares to low-income families (grant dependent fingers crossed) 
🥕 Applying to become a SNAP retailer so we can accept EBT for fresh, local produce
👩‍🌾 Creating more hands-on opportunities for community members to learn about farming and where their food comes from
